fallopian tubes: The fallopian tubes connect the ovaries to the top of the uterus and allow eggs to move from the ovaries to the uterus.

heredity: The passing of traits from parents to their offspring. Heredity is one factor that determines a person's predisposition to diseases such as uterine cancer.

hysterectomy: A surgical procedure that removes the uterus. When uterine cancer is still in its early stages, a hysterectomy can effectively stop the progression of the disease.
